This month a delightful article was published about our domaine and wine making practice in a magazine called Vent Sud. The magazine had concocted a "gastronomic road trip" through the region of Languedoc-Rousillion mentioning the best restaurants, bakeries, artisanal goods, and of course some of the best wines...

Soirée Signautre Bio 2011

Voilà, Beatrice et David à la remise du diplôme le 7 juin au Mas du Ministre à Mauguio.

Signature Bio 2011

Lundi dernier notre cuvée "Bois du Roi" millésime 2009 a participé au concours Signature Bio 2011. Nous avons le plaisir de vous annoncer qu'elle a reçu une médaille d'or avec la mention spéciale. Sur l'ensemble de la région, 181 échantillons ont été dégustés mais le jury n'a opté pour seulement 2 mentions spéciales, 13 médailles d'or, 21 d'argent, et 15 de bronze. Nous sommes invités à la remise des prix le 7 juin.

Concours Signature Bio

We have the pleasure to announce that our cuvée Bois du Roi 2009 just won a gold medal and special mention. Out of the 181 different organic wines tasted at the competition, only 2 received a special mention, 13 were awarded gold medals, 21 silver medals and 15 bronze medals. Soon a list of all the medals awarded will be posted on the AIVB-LR website. We are invited to attend an award ceremony on the 7th of June, and will hopefully be able to put up a couple lovely pictures of the event!

Château Costes-Cirgues 2008 et un "Commended" pour notre Bois du Roi 2008.

(Nous avons beaucoup de sanglier sauvage sur le domaine!)

Et finalement le question bonus:

Au printemps, il était tard (un tétard). Qu'est-il en automne?

Culinaria Mai 2011 - Bruxelles, Belgique

Here is our David hard at work making special note on his business card of our Château Costes-Cirgues 2008 for a client who really enjoyed it during a tasting!

This past weekend David attended Culinaria 2011 in Brussels, Belgium. It is one of the most highly regarded gastronomy salons in Belgium, as only the best restaurants and Michelin starred chefs are invited to share their latest culinary masterpieces. He was invited to assist with a wine degustation salon sponsored by one of our fine Belgian importers: BDC Wines (Vinum Authentis).

Chef Giovanni Nero creating a delicious pasta dish for his demonstration, and the best part was that the audience got to eat it! Bravo Chef!

Overall the fun-filled culinary weekend was a great success for our young winemaker, and a special thank you is due to Benoit, Bouchra, Richard, and Marc for making his stay there very pleasant!
